Bree Robertson, now known as Bree Rakowski and often referred to as Australia’s leading contortionist, is also an accomplished model, actress and dancer.

Bree has worked for some of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin and Giorgio Armani to name but a few. Travelling throughout Australia and across the world performing at a multitude of media and corporate events, appearing in music videos, television shows, commercials and film.

Renowned for her dazzling Swarovski encrusted costumes, ornate jewellery and signature high heels, Bree mesmerises audiences with her stunning style, elegance and seemingly impossible skills. A lover of fashion and beauty, Bree is a natural performer whose visually spectacular performances and seductive charm bends the lines between entertainment, beauty and fashion with a unique ‘twist’.

In 2010 Bree was hand-picked by Beyonce herself to perform at an exclusive private event for Beyonce and Jay-Z. A moment which Bree lists as one of her top career highlights and a once in a lifetime experience.

Bree has appeared on The Voice Australia alongside singing sensation Robin Thicke performing his international smash hit Blurred Lines and has made multiple appearances as a contortionist on channel 7’s The X Factor Australia including opening the 2012 X Factor Grand Final episode wielding an incredible three metre albino python, among just a few of her television appearances.

In 2008 Bree was flown to Los Angeles to appear on the Tyra Banks-produced top US television show America’s Next Top Model, instructing the model contestants on the art of extreme posing, combining her skills as a contortionist with her modelling experience and on-screen talents.

Bree joined the cast of the Crystal Boudoir show in 2007, a Parisian style cabaret show located in the heart of Sydney City’s Martin Place at GPO Grand with an illustrious cast of performers where Bree stars as the shows resident contortionist and dancer. The show, now in its 8th year, is Sydney’s longest running and most successful cabaret show.

As a model Bree has worked for multiple highly distinguished brands, has walked in fashion shows for Escada, David Jones and at both Australian and New Zealand Fashion Weeks, has appeared in numerous television commercials, photo shoots and advertisements worldwide for companies including Schwarzkopf and Moët & Chandon.

In 2013 Bree appeared at the ultra glamorous David Jones A/W fashion launch in a custom designed Alex Perry gown perched high above the red carpet on a giant light-up David Jones signature sign. Social media went crazy with hundreds of snaps of Bree in the stunning red Alex Perry gown flooding Facebook and Instagram.

Among Bree’s various acting credits, in 2009 she played a leading role in feature film thriller Fragment which had international distribution to various countries including South America and Germany. She has appeared in television shows such as renowned Australian soap opera Home and Away, various reality TV shows internationally, music videos, commercials and short films.

Bree’s list of achievements began long before she stepped into the world of stage, screen and runways. Her career began as an Australian representative international elite rhythmic gymnast and Bree lists winning Australia’s first ever individual rhythmic gymnastics medal in Europe as her most memorable sporting career highlight. She represented Australia at the 1999 World Championships in Osaka, Japan and won 3 gold and 3 silver medals at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2000 making her the most decorated Australian athlete at the Games across all sports.

After an illustrious performing career Bree has now retired from feature show contortion performances but continues to use her flexibility in film, television and commercials. Bree also continues with her modelling and fashion career.
