One&Only Wolgan Valley minimoon 01

After the most incredible week celebrating getting married to my wonderful husband and soaking up the sunshine on the gorgeous Hayman Island, it was time to head back home to Sydney. Unfortunately with our work schedules we weren’t able to take off on a honeymoon right away, so we opted to take a few nights instead to have a minimoon. If you haven’t heard of a minimoon before, it’s basically exactly what it sounds like, a mini honeymoon!
After the wedding we knew we would want a couple of days to ourselves where we could unwind and just enjoy the first few days of being married, so we decided to stay at the One&Only Wolgan Valley resort.
It was a great contrast to the island resort where we had just been all week and felt so cosy and romantic being surrounded by huge mountains and scenic landscapes. We spent most days in our private pool, at the day spa or taking a bike ride for a secluded picnic in the valley where we would spot all sorts of native Australian wildlife and would be curled up by the fireplace in the evenings.
It was phenomenal.
